V. Rory Jones: Co-Founder & Chief Executive
Rory co-founded PlanetEcosystems after two decades leading business services organizations. This includes leading Business Value Associates, a premier tech sector strategy consulting firm, serving as SVP, Business Development with Nextera, a publicly traded technology services provider, and leading the US Shareholder Value consulting practice as a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a leading global consultancy. Previously, Rory held senior executive positions at Thomson Electronics in Europe. Rory earned an MBA from the University of Chicago, a BSc in Engineering from the City University in London, and is a thought leader in technology, markets and finance; his book, Boosting Cash Flow & Shareholder Value, is published by John Wiley & Co.
Stephen Malloy: Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer
Steve co-founded PlanetEcosystems after 15 years as a serial entrepreneur and leader in business services. Steve served as SVP, Sales & Marketing with Cachet Solutions, a software/services start-up serving Fortune 500 Financial Services clients, and was a Principal in the Business Strategy consulting practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Previously, Steve held senior positions in technology and product development at Hewett Associates. Steve earned his MBA from the University of Chicago, and his BA in Political Science from Carleton College. Steve serves on several boards; primarily venture companies in the renewable efficiency space; including PlanetTran and ElectraDrive.
Scott McCaskill: VP, Technology & CTO
Scott brings two decades of advanced technology development and start-up experience to PlanetEcosystems, and is a powerful addition to our senior management team. Scott is already a leading professional in the emerging field of social media, having played key leading roles in Spredfast and Small World Labs. Previously, Scott was a senior executive in Dell Computers, following a successful career in strategy consulting with Boston Consulting Group and Sapient. Scott earned his MBA from the University of Chicago, and his BS, Computer Science and History from Yale University.
Jeff Rouser: VP, Client Relations
Jeff joins PlanetEcosystems with over 25 years of experience in advanced technical and business advisory services, assisting clients define key business objectives and configuring business operations to achieve those objectives, and is an invaluable member of our senior management team. Following his service with the United States military, Jeff began his career in the commercial sector in technology with Bechtel. Jeff subsequently focused on professional services, first as VP, Professional Services with Citadon, and then as President at Visilent. Jeff was Vice President at Transformative Sustainable Solutions, where he led Project DX; one of the first energy management software service providers. Jeff earned his MBA from Boston University, and a BSCE in Civil Engineering from Penn State University.
William Steiner: VP, Product Development
Bill comes to PlanetEcosystems with 25 years experience in technology and software development, and a specialization in business-to-business services. Bill served as Director of Application Development at Old World Industries, a major auto products company, and VP of Product Development and Sales Engineering at Cachet Solutions, a software and services start-up serving Fortune 500 Financial Services clients. Previously, Bill held leadership positions in technology development at Baxter Healthcare, Stone Container and Wilson Sporting Goods. Bill received his BS in Business Administration from the Citadel, and his MBA with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Benedictine University.

Daniel Kammen: Professor, University of California at Berkeley
Dan has returned from his secondment at the World Bank to lead the Energy and Resources Group (ERG), Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. He is also a Founding Director of the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory (RAEL). Dan is a recognized thought leader in renewable energy for local, State and Federal policy setters, and leading US utility companies.
Christopher J. Malloy: Associate Professor and Marvin Bower Fellow, Harvard Business School
Chris is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Harvard Business School, where is a recognized thought leader in behavioral finance. Chris previously taught at London Business School in the Finance Department.
